Born in 1944. Studied Electrical Engineering at RWTH Aachen, Masters Degree in 1968. Ph.D. in 1972 (Microwave Measurement Technology.)
Professional experience in the areas of analytical and medical instrumentation. Practicing intellectual property law from 1976 to 2008. Of counsel since then.
