Born in 1944. Studied Electrical Engineering at RWTH Aachen, Masters Degree in 1968, PhD in 1972 (Microwave Measurement Technology). Practical professional experience in the fields of analytic measurement technology and medical engineering.

Active in the field of intellectual property rights since 1976 and partner until 2008.

Of counsel since 2009. Now only active for the firm in an advisory capacity.
