Studied Industrial Engineering at TU Berlin and at TH Karlsruhe, Fulbright scholarship at Union College in Schenectady, USA, MSIA in 1983, PhD from RWTH Aachen  in 1988 (Fixation of Radioactive Waste in Sintered Glass). Practical professional experience in the field of materials science at Karlsruhe Nuclear Research Center. Active in the field of intellectual property since 1988.
